Crossroads (Lewis) appoint new Manager

Crossroads Lewis Care Attendant Scheme has appointed Nicky Cowsill as their new Manager.  Nicky, who has lived in Lionel for the last seven years, originally hails from Worcestershire.  The Crossroads scheme aims to relieve stress on the persons or families caring for all age groups of people with physical, mental or sensory impairment.  Crossroads Lewis is an independent registered charity which generates its own income to be spent for the benefit of the people of Lewis.

Nicky commented on the generosity of the Lewis community and how donations can be used to fund extra hours of practical help.  Pictured with Nicky is Donald McKee of Upper Coll handing over £100 he was given for cooking at a Burns Night and a further £60 for cooking at the Happy-Ness lunch club last week.
