It’s thanks to community fundraising and donations that we are able to keep our services running. We’ve had huge support from Ness in recent months. Our Ceil-a-thon in Clan MacQuarrie Hall in December raised £791, and we are grateful to Mary and the Melodeon Band, Keith and Portrona, and all who kindly supported us on the night. More recently we received a donation of £500 from Carthannis Nis.
We also received £915 from Lionel School’s Christmas Concert.
‘Both of these are huge sums from a small community, and we are hugely grateful for the continued support. It reminds us how valued Crossroads is on Lewis.’

Crossroads Lewis gratefully received the generous donation of £5,000 from the William Mackenzie Trust. This large sum will be spent to benefit the people of Stornoway. We are truly grateful for this boost at a time when funding cuts are facing Crossroads Lewis.

Marybank Garage have continued their support with a donation of £300 in December. It is very humbling to receive suport from local businesses, so thank you to them once again.
